Simple Step Stool- Sand & Paint {Day 2}

I used 50 grit sandpaper to sand down the wood filler patches.

Use Orbit sander or whatever you have will work.
I used 120 grit sandpaper then used 180 grit sandpaper.

Wipe the dust off with a damp cloth.

Paint the step stool with primer paint which I already have.

I used primer paint from Metropaint in Portland, OR.
FYI- it only cost $8 bucks!!!

Paint it in Crater Lake color which I already have.
First coat and I plan on to paint second coat tonight
then let it dry overnight and maybe will have to paint one more coat.

Crater Lake color {Metropaint}

Simple Step Stool {Day 1}

{My husband Taylor}

 I want to shout to my husband Taylor.
He helped me with putting the Step Stool together
and I wouldn't do it without his help.
Thank you!

We created this simple step stool with wood scraps we have.
Here are the steps how to build a simple step stool.

You will need a 2x4x8 wood

Cut four 3 1/2" x 12" and four 3 1/2" x 6"

Cut four Cedar wood 3 1/2 inches x 15 inches

Cut two Cedar wood 6 inches x 14 inches
then drill them onto 3 1/2" x 12" and  3 1/2" x 6"
You can see it in the picture below.

Use Countersink drill on the Cedar 3 1/2 x 15"
then drill them with wood screws

Yay!!!
They are almost completed.

Use wood filler to patch the countersinks

To be continued.....
I will sand the step stool then paint it.
